FAQ
Questions, answered.
Does my Discord bot run without my computer?+
Yes. NodeForge runs the bot in a managed container, so your home computer does not need to stay switched on.
What runtimes are supported?+
NodeForge currently supports Node.js and Python bot workloads.
Do I need Docker or Linux knowledge?+
No. NodeForge manages the container lifecycle behind the dashboard, so you can upload and control your bot from the browser.
Can I change plan later?+
Yes. Upgrades charge the prorated difference before higher resources are enabled. Downgrades are scheduled for the next renewal so you keep your current resources until then.
How do I add my Discord bot token?+
Add it as an environment variable such as DISCORD_TOKEN. NodeForge encrypts stored environment-variable values.
Can I cancel?+
Yes. Subscription management and cancellation are available through the Stripe customer portal from Billing. The dashboard shows when a scheduled cancellation or downgrade takes effect.
How do I get support?+
Signed-in customers can open support tickets in the dashboard and receive email notifications when NodeForge replies.
Can I delete my bot or account?+
Yes. Destructive actions require confirmation and clean up NodeForge-managed containers and linked billing resources.
Can I host websites or game servers?+
NodeForge is focused on Discord bot hosting first. Other workload types can be added as the platform expands.
